Okay I'm not an expert and this was pretty darn simple and relatively cheap! Total I spent about $30.00 which was a pretty decent craft day for me! I got all the supplies at Hobby Lobby except the coffee filters which I got at Wal Mart and the dried flowers I got at Michael's because the selection at HL was pretty slim. Anyways here is the list of things and the how to! I got the window frame from my Nanny! She found that it was fixing to be thrown away and she just knew I could salvage it somehow....and she was right!
Old window frame..make sure you wipe it down with old wash cloth & make sure you take the hinges & extra nails out
200 brown coffee filters
medium size styrofoam wreath
brown jute twine
dried flowers
hot glue gun
knobs
scissors
drill
take the coffee filters and put them in a cone shape
cut the tip of the cone off
at the end of the cone add quite a bit of hot glue (careful i burned the shit out of me)
you need to start on the inner part of wreath and work your way out
put pretty close together and work your way out after the center is filled
center is done now I have started working around the rest
it slowly starts to look fuller and like a wreath lol
you may need to stand it up because it gets harder to glue the filters down
lay face down to get the last bit of wreath
now all finished =) last few things like the dried flowers
add the jute twine and the dead flowers....flowers hot glue
take drill and drill holes for the knobs
get different knobs for a more antique look
hang the wreath onto the window frame after the knobs have been attached and look at this beautiful antique window frame that adds so much character to the casa!
