Its been too too too too long...but this one is a good one
Okay mothers and fathers out there you probably have had this issue but Keigan has some problems with some of her pronunciation. She is a talker I mean BIG talker...(she gets it from me) =) makes me very proud! Anyways she has issues with the words that start with these "sp" "l" and "r". I was telling her to say "spoon" she said "fooon" so I say "Keigy its sp sp sp spoon" and she says " ta ta ta foon" All her SPs are F's haha. Well I didn't know for sure if she could say her "t's" really well so I said "Keigan say truck" and she looks at me and plain as day says " Its Chevy Truck Month, anything else?" hahahahahahaha such a smart ass!

thy tummy says yummmmah
Okay saw this on a friends face book and decided that I was making it immediately and for the super bowl party we are attending this weekend!
Let me tell you these things are yuuuuuhmazing! I cant get over them they are freaking fantastic - and simple!
Strawberry Cheesecake Bites
Here's what you need:
powdered sugar
graham crackers
1 lb of strawberries
cream cheese
vanilla extract
chocolate (you will melt)
wax paper
knife
(filling is 8 oz of cream cheese (softened) with 4 table spoons of powdered sugar (sweeten to your liking) and 1 to 2 teaspoons of vanilla)
First things first WASH your hands and strawberries =)
1. Cut the tops off the strawberries
2. Clean the center of them out - not that hard there is somewhat a hole already in them
3. Cut a tiny piece off bottom so they will sit pretty and upright
4. In a plastic baggy put cream cheese, vanilla and powdered sugar then cut tip off and fill the center of the strawberries with the filling
5. Crush graham crackers in a separate plastic baggy then dip the strawberries in to cover the top of the filling
6. After the graham cracker topping has been added you can melt your chocolate tabs and drizzle over the top
How freakin good do these look?
Let them sit in fridge for a bit to get cooled down and they are ready to serve....freaking phenomenal!

Coffee Filter Wreath with knobs on Old Window Frame
Okay I'm not an expert and this was pretty darn simple and relatively cheap! Total I spent about $30.00 which was a pretty decent craft day for me! I got all the supplies at Hobby Lobby except the coffee filters which I got at Wal Mart and the dried flowers I got at Michael's because the selection at HL was pretty slim. Anyways here is the list of things and the how to! I got the window frame from my Nanny! She found that it was fixing to be thrown away and she just knew I could salvage it somehow....and she was right!
Old window frame..make sure you wipe it down with old wash cloth & make sure you take the hinges & extra nails out
200 brown coffee filters
medium size styrofoam wreath
brown jute twine
dried flowers
hot glue gun
knobs
scissors
drill
take the coffee filters and put them in a cone shape
cut the tip of the cone off
at the end of the cone add quite a bit of hot glue (careful i burned the shit out of me)
you need to start on the inner part of wreath and work your way out
put pretty close together and work your way out after the center is filled
center is done now I have started working around the rest
it slowly starts to look fuller and like a wreath lol
you may need to stand it up because it gets harder to glue the filters down
lay face down to get the last bit of wreath
now all finished =) last few things like the dried flowers
add the jute twine and the dead flowers....flowers hot glue
take drill and drill holes for the knobs
get different knobs for a more antique look
hang the wreath onto the window frame after the knobs have been attached and look at this beautiful antique window frame that adds so much character to the casa!

She may not know kids tunes but by Gosh she knows the radio ones!
Okay so Hunter and Keigan where on their way to the grocery store yesterday (only them, this doesn't happen often lol) and Keigan always looks at the stars and starts to sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and if you are listening to the radio by Gosh you better turn that shit down because she will be heard....whether you want her to or not! But anyways she was singing that song and Hunter let her finish and then told her "good job baby, but do you know any other kid songs?" and she replied " well I know I cut my bangs with some rusty kitchen scissors, I screamed his name till the neighbors called the cops" <- Miranda Lambert if y'all didn't know. Hunter starts to kinds laugh and he says " yeah well do you know any other kid songs...KID songs?" Keigan thinks for a minute and with a sigh (kinda like seriously?) and roll your eye statement she says " well.....I know Randy Rogers" hahaha Hunter just busted out laughing....and he told me "babe, I feel terrible because she doesn't know any kid songs...just "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" ya know?" I said "shiiiiiit I don't, why would you...shes almost 4 and she knows all the radio songs...I would say that's pretty bad ass" =) . LOVE LOVE her! She is so musically inclined and at such a young age! I sure hope she has my families rhythm, singing, and love for music!

She feels more comfortable in front of me
First things first - isn't this picture just adorable?
Love her to the moon and back....like 3944934x
Okay so the other night I had just gotten out of the bath and I noticed Jack (our little Maltese cockapoo) had found an old dryer sheet and had started to chew it up - why he does this I have no idea! Anyways I get dressed and I holler at him to stop and Keigan comes around the corner into the bathroom...mind you I always like to get dressed really fast because she has to point out every single thing on my body before I get dressed! lol! So she looks down at the mess that Jack has made and says with disbelief "oh my goodness, what the hell is that?" I said "beg your pardon, what did you say?" she says once again with the same "getting on to the dog tone" " oh my goodness, what the hell is that?" So I kinda laughed it off and said go tell your Daddy what you saw and said. So she walks down the hallway and I follow. I said " Keigan tell Daddy what you saw and then what you said" She looks at him SAME TONE AND EVERYTHING and says "oh my goodness, what the HECK is that?" I said " Now Keigy you aren't in trouble just tell Daddy what you really said" She said " okay..oh my goodness, what the heck is that" hahaha So I guess the point of this story is she feels more comfortable in front of me...or maybe her Daddy is just scarier then I am! haha
